Stitching My Way Through It: Healing, Faith, and Crochet

Y’all… life has been lifing. 😂

I don’t even say that lightly.

The past year has been one of the biggest transitions I’ve ever walked through. I went from being a wife to navigating divorce. I moved. I became a full-time single mom of two. I kept this crochet business going even on the days where I genuinely wanted to put the hook down and walk away from everything.

But God.

That’s really the whole story.

But I’ll explain a little more. 💗

Crochet has always been my peace. Not just a hobby, not just a business… but a way my spirit rests. When my mind is heavy, when I’m tired, when I’m trying to pray but don’t have the words, my hands know what to do. Stitch by stitch, I breathe again.

There were days I cried while crocheting. Days I laughed with my kids while weaving in ends. Days I sold out orders and felt unstoppable. And days I questioned if I should keep going at all.

But every time I wanted to quit, God sent a reminder:

A message.

A sale.

A hug from my baby.

Something that said: There is purpose in your gift. Don’t walk away from it.

And then came something I didn’t expect… community.

I realized I didn’t just want to crochet alone. I didn’t want to only post pictures and finished pieces. I wanted connection. I wanted other women who pray like I pray, who love God, who are growing, healing, processing, learning… just like me.

So I opened up my monthly crochet membership:

We meet in person and virtually, so no matter where you are, you can sit with us.
